When uploading an audience list to Revere Exchange the audience validator will look for the following column header values in the uploaded CSV file. If the headers are not provided the upload will fail. If the column headers are incorrectly named the upload will fail. Make sure your headers match the following names:

  • van_id
  • first_name
  • middle_name
  • last_name
  • suffix
  • email
  • phone_number (formats accepted: +11234567890, +1 (123) 456-7890, (123) 456-7890, 1234567890, 123 456 7890)
  • address
  • city
  • state
  • zip5 (example: 12345)
  • zip4 (example: 1234)

Please note: Any extraneous characters or non-compliant column formatting may result in upload errors. Field names need to match the names above to be processed correctly. No column name should be duplicated. Any other column names will be ignored when uploaded. Note: All audiences must have more than 1,000 rows/entries in order to be used for an advertising campaign.

Audience Naming

In uploading audiences, it is very helpful to name the audience something that can be located and identified quickly. We request when uploading any audiences, all clients utilize the structure Organization Name – List Name.
